Modern Traditional Living Room and Master

Hi Sarah! Here's what I have for your living room. I gave 2 options for rugs. You can click each item in the second draft to be taken to the shop. This one below is all the same except for the rug which is here and the artwork which is here.

The only thing I added is a console behind the love seat. With art work and some lamps on either side, it'll be a nice focal point from the kitchen. The artwork is from Juniper Print Studio. You can get a big one and put it into an ikea frame. I've done it before and its a great way to get large scale art for way less. (the link is for the frame and artwork but you can buy just the frame.)

Here's the plan with the other rug option. Here's the link to this rug.

I think it's a perfect modern twist on your classic, more traditional home.

Here's what I have for your bedroom:

Here's what I picked for the wall across from your bed and the reading area with the current chaise. Here is the greyish garden stool-- I like that it has flecks of gold in it too. And here's the faceted one from pottery barn.

For the blank wall, I'd sell the dresser and fill that wall with long picture ledges. These are 5' ones from pottery barn but they are so easy to make to any length with 1x4's.. I have a tutorial here. Then you could have plenty of space for art and family pictures or whatever else.

We talked about maybe putting a console underneath it to make it safer for the kids. I love these:

If you end up replacing the chaise I love this one and I've used the fabric "fandango stone" before and it's the best taupe, warm grey. I'd keep it neutral with the fabric that way you can change themes or colors at any point and it still works.

If you do the bench/ book storage under the picture ledges I picked 2 benches put together (this) and a cushion like this one but I'm working on a quote to get it made to size from a seller on etsy.
